I wrote this when I traveled in Germany, Munich to be specific. I saw the hotel clerk where I was staying; A Slovakian political science major hoping to use her education to help her war-torn country and to take care of her parents. She was absolutely captivating! Before I left I gave her this poem on a scrap of paper.....
