Q. godsey's distopia

by erotema   Apr 6, 2006

Disjointed...

bordered by a picture frame and look inside to find myself
my life is now a film noir with no new reel to end this take

marched, i have, some countless miles to find the truth amidst the lies
there is no Light, there is no home for those of us who seek the skies

Dulcinea, once my love, now forsakes my features grey

darkness now betrays my faith, the world around me growing dim
the sound of silence soothes my soul, along with holy seraphim
past my prime, ive passed away, and now the light escapes my day
i hear the song of sanctus now to help me see the setting Sun.

It's a bit confusing but I think it's because I'm not used to reading these kinds of styles. Usually I find poems here that use the same words. I liked you opening the best.
