Entwined

Cherry blossom petals falling down the street,
A landscape of spring where faeries meet.
A sun of gold shining down the trees
And upon flowers of honey hunted by bees.

Over the crystal clear rivers and springs of bliss,
Two morning red roses bow in an eternal kiss.
Waves of color seem to cover the blue skies
With the batting of fragile wings of butterflies.

The relaxing scent of colorful flowers fills the air,
A comforting rug of grass to make you feel without a care.
A mystical sonnet sung by birds in a harmonic choir,
Sun rays shining so hard they could light a fire.

Deep within this fairyland place,
Where clod drops of dew cool your heated face,
Two lovers found shelter away from the world,
Isolated here where they can never feel old.

Embraced in thoughts and body and soul,
They are together no matter where they go,
A romance as pure as a springtime flower,
Love is nurturing their heart, giving them power.

As nighttime covers them, they cuddle up close,
Dreaming in each other's arms as the moon arose
And as the silver light plays upon their skin,
Silence and peace inside them settles in.
