Forgetting Me

by Liz   Apr 7, 2006

The boy that I've cherished for all eternity...
Is leaving and forgetting me,
His once true love is back in his life,
And shall take her place, as his lawful wife,
And though it make sting like a million knives,
I always knew we'd lead separate lives.

So when I see his children at play,
I will not cry, but I will look the other way,
And in my mind I will smile for him,
And in my heart, I will show an ear to ear grin,
I will thank him for the time we shared,
When he said he loved me and truly cared.

Because this boy whom I've loved for all eternity,
Is leaving and for getting me,
For his new wife can show much more,
In a way that I truly adore.

So be happy my dear Koda-kun,
Try so hard to forget me,
And you will forget by tomorrow afternoon,
Me whom has loved you, all of eternity...
