Beasts of Men are Loveless

Grey eyes gaze into mine, stealing toward my depths
A man I've never Known,
A stranger to me yet
He holds me tight, I fell his warmth, seeping to my bones
His lips brush lightly, telling me things,
A love I've never known
He steals my soul with a whispered kiss,
And takes my love as his
A slight cares down my back, and he holds me tighter
He feels me burn, and knows his love, sets my soul on fire
He whispers to me sweetly, his lips brushing my ear,
He tells me that he loves me, asks me do you hear?
I belong to him now, and every thing is fine
But I know that soon I'll wake, and my dream is just a lie
All wee seek is love, but theres none for the beast of men,
so in the dark I hide myself, dreaming yet again

    Very good !! i like this poem but you gotta start to trust people. Dreams do come true , Lies can change into truth but if you sit in your room and do nothing bout it and being afraid of pain will never change you. Lol not trying to be a preacher but reading you poem made me feel that u feel this way but great poem!

    Nicely done. Your beginning set up something different than what the ending showed. Well done for that twist and the words though plain were strong for the piece.
