You went home

by C Cattaway   Apr 13, 2006

If you can't be here in my bed
To cuddle me all night,
Then I will have to dream you telling
Me that we're alright.
If sleep won't come, as I so need,
for thoughts have clogged my brain,
then I must write these words for you
To tell you once again..
That I love you so very much
And nowt compares to you,
And out of things we don't control,
I'm here to see this through.
Sweet angel, love is what this is,
And evermore shall be.
But time you need, and that I give,
So unconditionally.
You breath a breathe so warm and kind,
you speak a gentle word,
And I'm forever in your debt,
for what you said, I heard.
And so sleep comes, now I have said
what I wanted to say,
And when i wake, I'll feel so loved,
And smile another day.
