Redeemed

by Matt Carroll   Apr 16, 2006

Behind these iron bars I fall
In chains I'm locked away
On these hands and knees I crawl
Afraid I'm here to stay

In tears and pain I cry out loud
Oh Father, set me free
Part these storming, angry clouds
Put forth glory for all to see

The chains that bound me feel down fast
And that gate crashed open wide
Sins of old redeemed, it's past
Because for me my savior died

Hallelujah, Christ lives on
In all those who believe
Revel in the light of dawn
For through Jesus we're redeemed
