To Stay Forever

by ··¤(`×[¤Ðívïñë Ðî§tørtîøñ¤]×´)¤··   Apr 28, 2006

Laying on my back- looking up at the stars
Hearing the heat of the fire,
Wrapped up in your arms
This is where I want to stay forever
Nothing else matters
Im so content just to lie here
And be told 1,000 times over
That you love me, by your smile
Weve been tangled here for quite a while
And in this moment I honestly believe
Youll always and forever be there for me
Like maybe
I mean something to somebody
I close my eyes
And picture how this all began
Holding hands,
The sophomore and the freshman
Legends in themselves
And when I open my eyes again
I remember all thats been
And whats yet to come
Before I unraveled and came undone
Before my dreams were shattered to pieces
Right before
Im forced
To learn how to let go.

Omg! kick ass poem! i loved the way your were setting up this "perfect" little scene and remembering everything thats happened and going to happen, but the best part was by far the end where you take this sudden twist and say "learn to let go". amazing!
please keep writing cause i enjoy your work very much and stay safe, strong, and healthy!
