Life of an aged child

by lisa marie   Apr 30, 2006

Born in confinement
with no place to rest
and i'm not feeling good
nobody could have guessed
the way i'd grow up
and nobody would see
the the life in me

but today I'm just fine
I'm not inside of
a spaced out mind
and the world may look bad
but in my eyes
i can see the beauty in my face
and maybe i'll live
the life that you lead
like the flowers and trees
growing freely

today i can feel
the wholeness
of the years to come
I'm running through a jungle
barefoot
and Mr. Thoreau
your foot steps
are running in front of me

How wonderful to have a speaking relationship with a Great Soul now passed over...I once wrote to Tolstoy,
but he did not care for my sentiments..(no response!)
Nice imagery...Please do keep seeing the beauty..
