Shadows and Rambles

by Braeden Monks   May 3, 2006

The sun sets down
On the other side of town
I watch the sky darken
The night is just starting

The moon gives us light
And warms my heart
Everything is different at night
My mind is tearing, slowly rips apart

The Shadows on the ground here
Makes me wonder to myself
"Maybe we're the reflection in the mirror"
It hurts to push it, some one please help!

I keep pricking my brain for answers
To question I don't know yet
I'm lost in the intelligent desert
Not knowing myself because I've barely met

Pop a pill
Grab a pen
Glass gets a refill
Push my mind to bend
Slowly I seem to kill
Clock says 12:00 but it's 10
Nothing left on me but my will
