Just a few smiles away from happiness,
A few cuts away from death..
A few tears away from drowning,
And a few words from losing breath..

A few lies away from truth,
And a few pleasures away from pain..
A few trips away from falling,
And a few screams away from sane..

A few cracks away from breaking,
And a few experiences away from youth..
A few inches from the edge,
But a thousand miles away from you..

    Jess, I must tell you....I'm in love. In love with this poem. It's so simple yet to the point. I LOVE IT. Great job. Straight from the heart. You are amazing....never stop what you do.
