I Just Wanted to Let You Know

by TwistedNightmare   May 12, 2006

I just wanted to let you know,
About your wonderful achievements,
You have made this year.

Sometimes you may not realize this,
(I donâ??t know if you do this on purpose,
Or if it is accidental),
But you have touched my soul,
More than you think so.

You have achieved what no mother could,
And you have made my world a better place.
You greet me in the morning with a smiling face,
And you brighten all our days.
You make us laugh at your silly jokes.
May they be about those annoyingick people,
Or how you walked into a table.
You make us smile all day,
And you even wash our troubles away.

You clean the house until it is spic and span;
You even have the guts to scrub
The boyâ??s dirty bath tube.
You cook a delicious meal for dinner,
And boy is your food a winner.

You go and go all day long,
Sometimes I wonder if you are a robot.
In the end you sit down and heave a great sigh,
Just thankful you made it through,
Another day.

I just wanted to let you know,
That I appreciate everything you have done.
I am glad to have you around,
Not as a maid,
Nor as a professional cook.
No, I am glad to have you as my mother.

Now to finish off this lame poem,
I want to say I love,
And have a happy motherâ??s day!
