Tears I Have Cried

I keep it in now, I m silent,
The reason is my step-dad was violent.
He left me with a black eye,
Now i start to cry.

The tears they won't go away,
I will never forget what he did that day,
I still don't know the reason why,
And again i start to cry.

I hope it doesn't happen now or then,
I wish he will never do this again.
He tells me everything will be alright,
But this leaves me in much more fright.

I go to school and act like everything is ok,
But i need to talk to someone and say,
He has done this before,
And now it hurts even more.

The tears they drip down my face,
I want to get out of this place.
It is hurting me inside,
All those tears that i have cried.
