Raining Tears (Tanka)

Pieces of my soul
drown within poetic grace
while memories haunt
echoing of love's decay
as tears rain upon my heart

*Tanka is a classic form of Japanese poetry; Related to the haiku.
Tanka has five un-rhymed lines, consisting of 5, 7, 5, 7, 7 syllables.
