The Shaken Cry

by Karen Simpson   May 15, 2006

Broken dreams forever more
Take a chance and see your score
Do not fall to deathly lies
Do not listen when to you death cries

Hear them shreiking, calling your name
Beckoning you to be the same
Whispering and snickering in their ways
Do not listen to what he says

Feel his hate that he tries to hide
Some say it will never subside
I can feel him now, his buring rage
Holding me captive in a make-believe cage

Consuming my thoughts and my daily fassion
Taking my hopes, and cuasing me to lose my passion
I will not be overturned and taken
I will not let my life be shakened
