Secrets

by J Lau   May 18, 2006

Thoughts and feelings, never shared;
Words unspoken, never dared.
Through writing, we found peace;
Sympathetic readers, will never tease.
Heartfelt emotions, freely expressed;
Frustrated feelings, slowly released.
Wishful dreams, here to stay;
Painful memories, washed away.
All these poems, hidden pain;
A secret it is, they remain.

    How true. poetry can be our way out of so much. You described that perfectly in this piece. Funny how we pretend nothing is wrong than post these words here that show all the problems within our own lives. Granted, sometimes we write what isn't applicable to us, but often we do, whether we know it or not. A good piece!

    Loved it. It's so true, the secret that every poem holds within it. But sometimes, it's possible to break the defences that the poems hold. And sometimes, tru emotion can show through any poem. As this one. It not only does justcie to itself, but to every other one of your poems. It makes your other poems all seem 'truer' as it were, it brings out their true light.
    Amazing write.

    Peace. [Sole]
