Watching the Weather

The broken thoughts rain down on me
Shattered dreams of reality
Whilst out there in the window
Stares a lonely face
Watching for a change

Hail storms of emotions
Thunder through my body
As the weather changes
But I can't seem to hide

Lightening strikes
And worried looks
Hurried glances
Was all it took
To make me feel this way

Lost inside the moment
That lonely girl looks outside
Wondering where she will be
And waiting for that change
