Distorted Mirror

by ღ Diamoиd Eyes ღ   May 22, 2006

Distorted Mirror
on the wall.
Can you see me,
or not at all.

All the images,
that you show me.
Fat, tall, short
and seemly.

Pictures that
I seem to wear,
Shows that everyone
truly does care.

Diets, pills,
and anorexia.
Surgery, exercise,
and bulimia.

Why must we look
through another's eyes,
to feel beautiful
on the inside.

So now we must live
our days unclear,
looking through
a distorted mirror.

A distorted mirror
on the wall.
One that does not
really show us at all.

  • Yeah, I agree with you. Sometimes I feel that way, but I have to remind myself that it doesn't matter what I look like to other people, only myself. Thanks for the comment!

It's a good poem, kinda, but it doesn't really make sense :/
