You're Gone

What can I do?
Your not here anymore!
All these thoughts,
Running through my head.

No more laughing and joking,
Or beating up on each other.
All I can do is cry,
Cry, cry.

You left so suddenly,
Although we all knew it was coming.
Up and gone,
God took you just like that.

A family you had,
As happy as could be,
Why couldn't someone else,
Be the one to go?

The funeral was long,
And so will life be.
Without you here,
I've lost a part of me!

I just wanted to say,
I love you and goodbye.
You mean the world to me,
Uncle Tom!!

Now you are at rest,
Up in heaven with the angels.
I will meet you someday,
And we will be a family again.

No more tears can I cry,
For I know you wanted me to not be sad.
We all miss you lots!

Whenever you get lonely up there,
Please remember this.
“You did not go to Heaven alone,
For part of us went with you
THE DAY GOD TOOK YOU HOME!!!”
