Mosquito

by mossgirl19   Jun 4, 2006

I can't sleep because of you
I know my sister can't sleep too
But you still don't seem to understand
You glided on me and bit my hand
I tried to smash you
But you escaped before I do
Oh, wise old mosquito I know
Until you can sip blood you won't go
But if ever I caught you fiend
I'll make sure it'll be your end.

Good poem. It was unexpected for me to see a poem called "Mosquito" so thats why I read it cause It was different. I think you did a good job of writing it. Great rhyming too.

Thanks for your comment on my poem

This was a good poem, those little buggers are really annoying, but I can only imagine how bad they are in the Philippines. Where it's hot, humid almost all the time. Really good poem,
all you need to do, is change 'fiend' in the 2nd last line, to 'friend', so it rhymes with 'end' :)
