Oh, beloved

by Shelby G.   Jun 6, 2006

The sun has set, The moon shines bright
Upon this body, hidden from sight
Your eyes, so glazed, skin so pale
Body bruised from the icy hail
Lips so sweet, I long for a kiss
Oh beloved, whys it come to this?

Oh even after death, I taste your tongue
After days of death it's still bubblegum
Your body lays cold, and starts to decay
Though still you can pleasure me in every way
Jealousy has driven me to the brink of being mad
No guilt for what's been done, and no signs of being sad
Oh beloved, whys it come to this?

I can look passed the stench and we can still make love
I remain here, you're below or above
They never have to know, it can still be you and me
What I'm doing is so wrong, but I pretend not to see
Oh beloved, whys it come to this?
