I Leapt From a Tower

by Daenerys Stormborn   Jun 8, 2006

Here I am in the quiet sky
Falling, dreaming I can fly
All the tears that I have shed
All the stories I have read
Secrets kept safe inside
This will be my final ride
No more loss, no more pain
No more calling me insane
Jumping was my final try
Slow motion right before I die
The ground is rising steadily
Soon I'll know where I will be
Seconds left in my sad life
Then all will end: my hurt, my strife
Goodbye Mom and goodbye Dad
This was my choice, don't be sad
I'll be waiting for you in the After
Until then, don't miss my laughter
For I never laugh, I never smile
If I have, I forget...it's been a while
So here I am now in the quiet sky
Falling, dreaming I can fly
