My Happy Ending

by Kelly   Jun 14, 2006

Out one goes and in the next few come,
Then another follows and soon is done,
In and out they go all day,
But no one ever offers to stay,
I am dying here in this room with padding on the walls,
I scream and scream until it echoes through the all white halls,
I am confused and in a daze,
All my visitors appear to me in a blurry haze,
I always complain my jackets too tight,
And now and then I win the fight,
Slowly the sleeves come loose,
And I pull my hair to make a noose,
Looser and looser the jacket comes,
Until the day I am finally done,
I fasten the noose on the ceiling light,
Making sure it is good and tight,
For living is not worth it if,
You do not even get the chance to live,
Soon I am hanging and I see the end,
So that is how I will say farewell my friend.
