Christmas Time

by Keisha   Jun 16, 2006

We couldn't wait for some snow,
Snowballs we love to throw.
We couldn't wait to come together as a family,
We sure do love each other's company.
We couldn't wait to see everybody with smiles on their face,
We love to see and hear everybody giving grace.
There is only one time a year,
That loving words is all we hear.
The one time a year is Christmas,
We come together without a fuss.
As we show our family around us love,
We think of those who are now above.
Now with food on our plates, that we can't wait to eat,
A joke is told and we all laugh and take our seat.
Now as we are finished eating and out belly's are full and we're not hungry no more,
We all give hugs and tell each other we love them as they pack up and head out the door.
As you can tell we had another wonderful Christmas day,
I hope you and your family had a great Christmas too, that's all I have to say.
