Homesick Lover

by Heather   Jun 21, 2006

I sit and look out my window.
Waiting and watching.
Hoping and dreaming.
And thinking of you.
It's been months since I've seen your face.
And had a warm place in my heart.
I wonder what you're doing.
When you'll be home.
When I'll see you again.
What I'll say to you, what you'll say to me.
If I'll still love you, or if you'll love me back at last.
I feel homesick... and it's all for you.
You make me a homesick lover.

Really good poem, the flow is off a little bit, but overall it's nice, simple, and a very creative poem. GOOD one.
