Black Eyes Watching

by Daenerys Stormborn   Jun 23, 2006

Black eyes scrutinizing without resonance
Staring cruelly; never tolerating one wince
Wondering just what I am up to this night
Lustily hoping my actions are out of fright
I am their most favored emotional disaster
Reading my future eagerly; chapter by chapter
Controlled by the tension of holding too taut
Wallowing in the lagoon of being distraught
Thought and affliction pain my troubled mind
Out of concrete loathing does my jaw grind
The cool hand of sorrow eases the anticipation
Feeding my hungry ears a sadistic incantation
Encouraging deceit and deliberate disruption
Pouncing on the slightest palm of corruption
This wrinkled heart is not getting any younger
And the pits of my stomach boil from hunger
My book has come to an end I must confide
Hollow black eyes watch as I commit suicide
