A Mother's Love

A big caring heart
And a smile full of love
I know that we will never part
Even when we float up above..

I love this person more than I can say
My heart is devoted to her
Without her, my world would be gray..

Inside her womb I grew
Her love and peace within
So strong that they sank through

This woman has always cared
And I know for me she would die
All our precious memories, together we have shared
And I don't think I could ever say goodbye..

So I just want to thank you
For being better than any other
I love you and that is true
This person is my mother..

    Awe, this was truly very sweet. However, it is evident to see how much you have grown and advanced as a poet in the space of just under a year. There's nothing wrong with this piece, but in comparison to your newer stuff, there is a big contrast.
