PROOF!!!!

I had a dream of you last night
I woke up and cried out my heart
Because I dreamt of my one fear
The one I've had from the start

I dreamt that upon seeing you
I tried to smile and hug
But you pushed me away
You'd have none of my love

I looked at you and in truth I knew
Tears forming in my eyes
You yelled at me and walked away
Your eyes showing despise

At this I had to walk away
But then heard you again
"I'd never do anything with you
Now I'll never be your friend"

I collapsed right there as you said these words
I couldn't believe my ears
Not only had you killed my heart
You'd fulfilled my fears

I just wanted you to know
I love you so much
Even if you hate me
My heart stays in this clutch

I've dreamt of you every night
My longing getting worse
I wish to be relieved of this
My one and only curse

I thought that seeing you again
Would alleviate at least for a while
But since I last saw your face
I haven't even cracked a smile

So please read this poem
and realize the honest truth
