I Wish To Tell You

by Taryn   Jul 2, 2006

To all my friends,
This is where our story ends.
Even though,
Its a beginning of a story we do not know.
I wish to tell you of the times of the past two years,
Of how we overcame many fears.
I could tell you, If I might,
It just wouldnt be right.
I could tell you of all the times we were sad,
Or even the times our teachers made us so mad.
Each one of those times were worthwhile,
Cause now we look back, and it makes us smile.
We move on, with all the new things we know,
Even though sometimes it doesnt really show.
Now when we look back and remember,
Back in 2004, that special September.
I can remember how I would shake,
That first Day, how I felt as if I were to break.
It was a brand new start,
With all different kinds of hearts.
Each one of us with different goals,
With different roles.
Many of us became friends,
Friends until the end.
They were always there,
To reinsure us that they care.
Always hanging out,
Seeing how loud we could shout.
It was always a blast,
Now its all just in the past.
As we look back on the memories since the beginning,
Reminiscing of dancing throw the hall ways singing.
Look back and remember not doing your homework almost daily,
And how our teachers became oh so scary.
Thinking of stupid little fights,
That werent so polite.
Recalling things that torn us apart,
Not knowing these things would happen at the start.
There are things we wish we could have done,
We could have always had a little more fun.
Remember friends life is the test,
So at least try and do your best.
Our new start is near,
And were all in the clear.
I didnt imagine this in 2005,
How hard it would be to say goodbye.
So goodbye to you all,
Our story at the Ridge will be over by nightfall.
For we are the graduates Mme McMenomy shall never forget,
We are Maple Ridges Graduates of 2006 with no regret.
