Help from a butterfly

~help from a butterfly~

Feeling so sad
I felt alone,
I thought I would
Never smile
Because I believed
I was on my own.

Such a lovely spring day
But I was in my room
My tears fell down
I wished my life
Would just give up
And I would fade
Out and die.

As I looked out
Of my window
I saw your beauty
You fly with grace
And move without fear.
How can such a
Small thing
Be so brave?
So many enemies
Are around you today.

You showed me the way
You showed me
To have no fear.
Although I have no wings
I will let destiny take me away.
Thank you my friend
For you have saved my life
I will always remember
That I had
Help from a butterfly.
