I said that I loved you
But you didn't care
I went round to your place
But you weren't there.
I should have seen the signs
I should have paid attention
But it was your girlfriend on the side
That you forgot to mention.

I gave you my heart
But never got it back
She was your main course
And I was just a snack.

I will now say good-bye
To my heartache and fear
You have hurt me so much
But I won't shed one more tear.
