A sinners testimony

by Chris   Jul 14, 2006

If anything take a part of this that you've read and apply it to your life. If you are a non-believer look around and ask yourself who can do such great work. And if you want to talk about religion please feel free to Message me. I'll be more than happy to talk.

A sinners testimony-

They say we're living to die but I'm just fighting to live.
The Bible told me that you shed your blood to right all our sins.
Give me a chance I know I'm not worthy to hold Christ within.
But my heart is open and I'm willing to fight till the end.

I've seen many scriptures they're fiction, your word is love.
Even though we cannot see you we listen and feel your touch.
What's real above has more truth than what is here on this earth.
I have no excuses for you because as priorities go you're my first.

So I lift my arms, my head to the sky.
My life is in your hands.
No more will I have to abide by these lies.
For you Lord I will stand.
I have soaked these sins, you have heard my cries.
For your love compares to no man.
Thank you Lord, that I'm alive.
And now I understand.

I am not a religious person, i believe things happen for a reason, not because someone makes them happen.
But i loved this poem, and i am happy that you feel like you do, the only things is, some lines were too long and rocked the flow a bit.
but overall i enjoyed this poem

Wow Chris. That was so amasing and powerful. It was really inspriational too, great work on this. Some lines were a little long though and it kind of interupted the flow, other than that it was a great poem.

This is frightening stuff. But hey... everyone needs something to fill a hole in their life, and there are worse things than religion. A passionately phrased piece, nonetheless.
