Cutting

by Jennifer Dziak   Jul 18, 2006

Its like its taunting me
Torturing my soul
Burning inside of me
Cruel control

Its like its my confession
My self esteem conspiracies
A strain of unsolved murders
Corrupted mythologies.

My blood filled dreams
Interrupting my hopes
Leaving me on the floor
With your tangled ropes

Choking me, suffacating
Lifting me off my depression
Into your arms
Of pain and deception

I cannot leave here
I will not stay
Embrace me and my love
Use me and betray

So sweet and sensual
You speak truth so cruel
You, my only true love
My glorious cutting tool.

While others see you sinister
Unsightly or menacing
I, my sweetest friend,
Know your the answer to everything.

You are ver good with metaphors and perconification... you are very talented... and i have realized that most of your poems rhyme and normally i don't like ryhming because it is usually cheesing (my poems don't even ryhme) but you do and excellent job at it
