A Dark Day

Last day of the rest of my life
Wish I would have know cause
I didn't kiss my girlfriend goodbye
Maybe I was reaching for love
Or maybe I needed just one hug
Its my last step whatever it was
I had no respect for myself
I've found love in all the wrong places
Same situations, just different faces
No matter how hard I tried
Often thinking of suicide
If I put my life to an end
You'd remember me then
Now theres no turning back
Gonna tell the world how i feel
With the sound of a gat
Who is to blame for lives
Pain can claim
No matter whats said
It doesn't take away the pain
Thats the way the story goes
Will it ever make sense
No one will ever know
Theres more to life than this
Theres got to be than what exists

    Hey mike, not a bad poem u have there. Last few lines really got to me. It's a question i think we all ask ourselves.
    But hopefully you can see there's not one answer. As corny as it sounds its in every one of us to find meaning etc.
