Truth

Truth. . .
No one knows it anymore
it completely shot out the door
no one can ever agree
on how our lives should be
they don't give God a second thought
in this world their hearts are caught
and they always need proof
to show them the truth
when all the evindence is right here
if they'd open their eyes
maybe they could see you Jesus
I hear it all the time
"there is no truth, its what ever is right for me"
they follow their own paths and religions
not knowing their more than a little off on their dicisions
Some think it's alcohol and drugs
and for some it's kisses and hugs
most say it really doesn't matter
they say there is no truth and if there is show me the proof
but I have all the proof I need
My truth hung on a cross to bleed
so my selfish heart could be set free
We're so confused, its one big mess
but in it I know Gods love is no less
but I wonder Lord,
how do you hold on
when so many let go?
In this world its seems
like so few believe
I believe you are the truth
and I've got all the proof
I could ever need
but so many still look
for that something to believe in
when the truth is right here
waiting patiently and loving them
open your eyes
Jesus loves you,
that is the truth
but no one knows it anymore.
