I'm out of excuses
Contradiction is tired
Force fed my downfall
For what I've required

My upkeep not kept up
Every moment that we've slept
Times running out, we wasted away
I had to accept what you had to say

This talent to hold on
To not die, and be strong

Been pushed now, far aside
