A Knight's Tale {Ottava Rima}

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   Jul 30, 2006

Sometimes we see him sitting at the window,
But no one really knows why; he is blind,
Gazing at the delicate stars; no one knows,
That he really sees his son in his mind,
Crying softly for his son, the tears fall slow.
Remembering his home the son will find,
His crying father from many years ago,
Now telling his father he is not alone.

    Awh, another amazing poem. It was utterly sad, I enjoyed reading it though. The flow was good too. :]

    This is good. It tells a story in such little words, but it really leaves me wanting to know more about the whole situation... Perhaps you could try making it into a different sort of poem and expand it a bit?
