This Goodbye Won't Last Forever

by Rachel   Jul 31, 2006

I didn't want to say goodbye,
but I guess in the back of my mind,
I knew this was coming.
Please, just tell me that this goodbye isn't forever.
I couldn't bear that.
Time has passed too fast, I can't keep up with it.
I need more time,
Too memorize your face,
So I can take a part of you with me.
At last, I found someone who really cared,
And now it's all messed up.
The distance will tear everything apart.
I know you have your own life,
Even if it is 2000 miles away.
I'm counting down the days,
Until I get to see you again.
I miss you so much it makes me want to cry.
I think about you so much these days,
I believe your face is burned into my dreams and my mind.
But the truth is,
I don't want you to be apart of my past.
I got to have hope,
I have to believe
That this goodbye isn't forever.
So I hope you're listening,
As I say this prayer for you,
I hope too see you soon.
