True Story

True Story
03-03-04
I am standing in Minneapolis
I am glaring down to the Mississippi,
Clinging on to the bridge,
I look around me to see if any dare stop me,
A man rides his bike but doesn't sense trouble,
He doesn't understand that this may be it...
I may just jump and tell my life...I QUIT,
I want to ask for help, but I'd rather die,
People care about me, I'm just in denial,
If I jump I should do it soon...
When I wait to long I chicken out,
I ask myself what trouble I am making...
God what path am I taking?,
My cell phone rings, once, then twice,
I decide to answer it and
I am glad cause that person saved my life.
