Four Walls

by Torn   Aug 4, 2006

Torture in these four walls,
Stains of blood coat the floor.
Where the Anna everyone knows,
Was left behind closed doors.

No one to ever see,
The monster she becomes.
Like a famished child from food,
To the knife she will succumb.

No reasoning to the slices,
No matter what she tries to prove.
Of course it will make things worse,
But what has she got to lose.

Desperation overwhelms her,
Suffocates her every sense.
No taste, smell, touch or feel,
No evidence of common sense.

So there she lies alone,
So pathetic and utterly weak.
I quickly turn to desertion,
As one tear rolls down my cheek.

Away From You ...
