Take Off Your Disguise

by Marie   Aug 9, 2006

Stop with all your pretentious ways
because I'm not falling for your hypnotic gaze
I can see through you
do you really think, that I've got not clue?
I've dug down to the bottom and found out the truth
So leave the crazy world that you've gone into

You're so much more than what you know
You're just the one who's not letting it show
because you're scared that this might sting
but you have no idea how much it can bring
Can you let me help you and take a chance?
You'll finally be broken from this powerful trance

Let go of the fake and hold on to what's true
Because the only one, who suffers is you
take a deep breath and stop holding back
It's easy to see between the lies that you stack
Every pigment in you and choice you make
is only yours; there is no mistake

You're shaped to be the person you are
But how will you learn if you look at your scars?
Release yourself and show your true face
so you can see clearly, who you have embraced
You have everything you need to open your eyes
It's time to take of your deceiving disguise.
