Your Eyes

In your eyes I saw forever
I found comfort, I found hope
Just looking in your eyes
I learned how to cope

When I had lost the path
Your eyes showed me the way
If I was sad or angry
Your eyes would chase the pain away

In the dark corners of my mind
Your eyes were a beacon of light
Each time I looked into your eyes
I discovered the strength to fight

Now your eyes are empty
I scream and hit the floor
I close my eyes and lose myself
Because yours wont open anymore
