I watch you thinking
I feel bad for you
Look at what
she's put you through

I watch you with Jase
And I feel bad
I know you think of her
And it makes you sad

She's your daughter
But you don't get to see
As she grows and thinks
What she will be

It's not fair
That you have to suffer
Just because you didn't
Marry her mother

She shouldn't keep you
From your own child
Especially when she barely cares
She's just to wild

One day she'll settle down
And then she'll see
That all you wanted to do
Was be the father you can be
