The meaning

A lonely angel stands atop a high hill
And down his spine runs a cold chill
The rain pelts down upon his face
The water mixes with his tears,
He has fallen down from grace
He has realized his greatest fears.

He watches lightning crack through the sky
As he keeps crying, and screams out why
Why should he suffer this horrendous pain?
Why does he fight, when its all seems in vain?

He drops down to his hands and knees
He starts praying to god, begging please
Give me strength, shine down your light
So I have the will to get up and fight

He rises to his feet, the sky starts to clear
He raises a hand and wipes clean his last tear
He smiles and realizes he has a message to give;
The true meaning of life is to live.
