Flamming Inocence

Inch by inch the heads will turn
Watching as she broils and burns.
Hear her screams, hear her cries
Watch as the life is burnt out of her eyes
The smell of sweet burning flesh surges through the air
Soon the flames will reach up to her hair
Then you'll be sorry and full of regret
This will be a night that you will never forget

How does it feel to burn your daughters at the stake
Do you realize now that your god is a fake
Where is he now, does he even care
Question his existence if you dare

Pile the logs up to the sky
Like a fish, she's gunna fry
Here it comes, her final breath
Was it really worth it to put her to death
What did she do, what was her crime
Was it worth the effort, worth the time
So in the end who is really to blame
Killing your own, out of fear and shame

How does it feel to burn your daughters at the stake
Do you realize now that your god is a fake
Where is he now, does he even care
Question his existence if you dare
