A Sad Little Girl

by Jessica   Aug 18, 2006

Sparkling tears slowly fall down pale cheeks
Gently rolling over all the curves and extra weight
Outlining her differences and letting people see
That when she was sad, this little girl just ate..

Not really that big at all, thinking she is huge
Covering up a body, keeping people out of her life
Ashamed and scared, broken and crying she remained
Maybe the answer was to turn to that shiny knife..

Walking consciously down the crowded street
Feeling that all eyes laid on her were disgusted
Trying so hard to blend in and feeling such a fool
Maybe this was caused by the people she trusted..

Sparkling tears slowly fall down pale cheeks
Gently rolling over all the curves and extra weight
Outlining her differences and letting people see
That when she was sad, this little girl just ate..
