The Hunger Of The Blade

by master of shadow   Aug 19, 2006

Longing to be united
To piece that smooth flesh
For my hunger to be fed
Have urges like none could guess,
Call out to my slave
My prisoner since long ago
When to me their soul they gave,
Promised to feed me whenever they feel low.

I whisper inside their head,
As they try to resist
But I need to be fed
So with my calling I'll persist.

Eventually they will cave in,
Feel the need to hurt
Need to bleed for every sin,
Start to feel lower than dirt.
Only then may I feed
Upon their despair and pain,
As my slave shall bleed
Nourishment I shall finally gain.

Loved that perspective. Really that was something else. I liked how the blade was personified and given its views on cutting. The second stanza was awesome. Some choice words and some great descriptions.
