The Dark

You can find me in the dark
but looking for me wouldn't be very smart
search if you must
but if you stay your heart will rust

To find me you must look in the darkest of night
it is a place that knows no light
in this place you must have no fear
or it will strip you of everything you hold dear

i have lived in the dark for years
I have let go of all pain and fear
but I have no answers
the dark ate away my emotions like a cancer

In the dark I've only found one thing
with out emotions you'll go insane
look in my eyes
and you'll see I'm dead inside

and I've realized far to late
that instead of nothing I'd rather feel pain and hate
