It's just how it is
You can't change my mind
I believe that now
Is the beginning of our time

We've been friends for long enough
And I want to be more
More than just friends
More than before

Do you remember when we first met
We met over the phone
While you were at your friends house
I was in my own home

We were talking for hours
And we barely ever took a breath
You helped me through some problems
You helped me through some stress

Now I want to be more than friends
We're such good friends too
I don't wanna ruin our friendship
But I just want to be with you
