Pop Rocks

by James Nappo   Aug 31, 2006

I'm just sitting around,
I've been waiting for you, to call.
I'm just looking around.
I'm just trying to get away.
Every time I think of all the maybes,
it's like pop rocks in the mouth.
Constantly exploding.
Keeping me.
Wanting more.
But every time you leave,
I decide...

that I still hate you.
that I can't stand you,
and there's nothing you can say to make it worst.
I'm so damn angry.
Why are you still here?
Just go away.
And leave me alone.

Now I'm just sitting around,
waiting for you, to call.
I'm just looking around,
I'm just trying to get away.
Every time I think of all the maybes,
it's like pop rocks in my mouth.
Constantly exploding.
You're so spontaneous,
and so damn random.
I still love you,
and I hope to have you.

But this dream is almost over,
and I can't see,
why can't it be?
But you said, that, it's over.
So it's over.
